Shoppers Stop offers leading international and national brands in men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, footwear, and home furnishing products to customers across India. These are complemented by cafe, food, entertainment, personal care, and various beauty-related services. In addition to its physical stores across India, Shopper Stop has been running a successful online shop since 2008.
The Solution
Shoppers Stop decided to deploy QlikView business discovery software across the buying & merchandising teams. The software was rolled out in a period of less than two months. The QlikView solution offered a high level of flexibility, ensuring the right teams access the right information, supporting a more productive environment. The solution also enabled a 'self-service' model of data analysis at Shoppers Stop, allowing users to select data points dynamically. The company is also planning to extend the solution to its mid-level management users in the field via mobile devices such as Apple iPads.
