The Challenge
Coca-Cola, a global beverage company, has been seeking ways to balance its rich history with a relentless pursuit of innovation. The company has been using Alteryx, a data analytics platform, for various projects including geospatial intelligence, time series forecasting, and predictive modeling. One of the significant challenges was to gain insights from the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, a touch screen fountain that allows users to create their own mixture of flavors. The company wanted to predict components that would require maintenance and understand the best product mix in different regions of the country.
About The Customer
The Coca-Cola Company, headquartered in downtown Atlanta, is one of the most iconic brands in the world. The company's history begins in 1886 when pharmacist Dr. John S. Pemberton invented a concentrated syrup to be served from a soda fountain. Today, over 1.9 billion Coca-Cola beverages are consumed daily around the globe. The company has managed to balance a commitment to its rich history with a relentless pursuit of innovation around one simple goal: making people happy. Coca-Cola has several hundred users across the organization, from the supply chain group to the data science team, all using Alteryx to glean insights from Coca-Cola data.
