The implementation of Check Point CloudGuard IaaS has been a game-changer for Gas South. It is the only solution that provides stable, complete access to their critical applications and services in Azure, allowing users to work anywhere, regardless of an outage. For instance, Gas South’s commodity traders, who conduct live trading on gas trading websites, must be physically onsite to do their work. In one outage, the data center lost power and trading operations ceased. However, with CloudGuard IaaS, they were able to quickly provide them with authorized access. Agile, authorized access through CloudGuard IaaS has greatly increased uptime for many groups within Gas South. In another incident, an air conditioning system in the data center failed, causing the data center to overheat and shut down. Immediately, users were logged into applications through CloudGuard IaaS and there were no complaints.
