The solution provided by Greenly enabled Kalray to structure its environmental policy and draw up an action plan to reduce its emissions. The company was able to involve managers for each major emission item, working together with each relevant department to define reduction actions that were both impactful and within reach. This collaborative approach ensured that the emission reduction actions were aligned with the company's 2022 development and growth objectives. The process also helped to raise awareness and involve the entire business in the process of reducing emissions, fostering a culture of sustainability within the company.

Kalray was able to measure its total carbon emissions, which amounted to 1922t CO2e in 2021.

The company's carbon footprint was broken down into purchase of product (50.7%), fixed assets (29.1%), and purchase of services (8.8%).

The carbon emissions were equivalent to 1992 round trips between Paris and New York, or the annual emissions of 201 French people.
