解决方案
Alliance Broach & Tool leveraged ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software from REALTRAC to manage their growth and costs. The ERP software provided up-to-date information for quoting, costing, and managing projects as they moved through the operation. This allowed the company to effectively manage their operations and achieve significant cost savings. The software improved job planning, cost analysis, and floor operations, resulting in a quick return on investment. The saved history in the system helped develop quotes more quickly and accurately, and provided instant visibility to the status of any item on the shop floor. The ERP software also reduced the need for additional administrative staff, allowing the company to operate with a leaner team. Additionally, the software helped prepare for audits and certifications by providing the necessary documentation with a few simple keystrokes.

Mercedes-Benz and his partner GAZ chose Siemens to be its maintenance partner at a new engine plant in Yaroslavl, Russia. The new plant offers a capacity to manufacture diesel engines for the Russian market, for locally produced Sprinter Classic. In addition to engines for the local market, the Yaroslavl plant will also produce spare parts. Mercedes-Benz Russia and his partner needed a service partner in order to ensure the operation of these lines in a maintenance partnership arrangement. The challenges included coordinating the entire maintenance management operation, in particular inspections, corrective and predictive maintenance activities, and the optimizing spare parts management. Siemens developed a customized maintenance solution that includes all electronic and mechanical maintenance activities (Integral Plant Maintenance).
