Fly High Airway, a major domestic and international airline, was facing challenges with their existing email security solution, Proofpoint. The airline was not satisfied with the efficiency of their email catch rate and was looking for better protection for their Microsoft Teams account, which they heavily relied upon for internal communications. The airline was also seeking a solution that was cloud-native and connected via API. The airline's CISO, Sebastian Thompson, was not happy with the number of phishing emails that were getting through on a regular basis. The airline was also interested in Microsoft Teams protection. The solution connects in seconds via API and blocks emails before reaching the inbox. It also offers a detailed dashboard that updates administrators on security issues with usage in Teams. Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration logs the total number of users, files, shares, links, logins, channels and threat detections. The solution also controls access to confidential data, quarantines malicious content and informs users of security events.

The manufacture and assembly of massive fuselage assemblies and other large structures generates a river of data. In fact, the bill of materials for a single fuselage alone can be millions of rows of data. In-house production processes and testing, as well as other manufacturers and customers created data flows that overwhelmed previous processes and information systems. Spirit’s customer base had grown substantially since their 2005 divestiture from Boeing, resulting in a $41 billion backlog of orders to fill. During the 6-8 hours it took to build a report, another work shift (they run three per day) would have already taken place, thus the report content was out-of-date before it was ever delivered.
